can hear videos but can't see them

I have win 7 pro, ie 9 and v11.6.602.171 flash.  in the last week or two I have noticed a "buzz" along with a pause in sound and vid action.  in the last few days I have lost all videos in sites like msn,comedy central and others. I hear the vid but can't see it.  It looks like there is a lot of his going on, Anyone know how to fix it? I have tried most of the fixes I have found on this site and nothing seems to work

    Let's try rolling back to a previous version of Flash Player to see if the latest update is to blame.  Please see this FAQ for details.

    it turns out to be a windows update installed on 2/28/13. see below. after I did this everything works fine. The reply from cblawman was exactly what fixed my problem. I uninstalled kb2670838 update and voila, all my issues are corrected. The update must also be a required update for IE10, because, after uninstalling the update I'm now back to IE 9. I'll just wait 'till Microsoft gets it right before I allow it to be re-installed. According to the Microsoft website, the update deals with performance issues of various graphic components. Yeh, it sure does! LOL Nessbeatle, go to add and remove programs, click on installed updates and search for kb2670838 and uninstall. Worth a try. I lost silverlight video, embedded flash objects and taskbar live preview. They all function correctly now after uninstalling kb2670838. Hope this helps Mike
