Question

Can I just get a xpi installer? no admin rights. Firefox portable edition

Hi,

My system:

- Win XP pro SP3

- Firefox 3.6.4 (portable edition)

- No admin privileges

In previous versions I could just download the xpi, extract it as a zip file, and save some of its contents to the portable edition plugins folder. This time, there's no way of downloading the flashplayer.xpi file.

IMHO this makes alternative installations way more difficult... maybe those are adobe's intentions... I can't wait till most of us stop using flash...

Does anyone have an idea where to get the xpi file for the 10.1 version? Thanks a lot,

Pedro.

Why should they?  They provide a plugin installer that works for all (non-IE) browsers at the same time.
