can no longer rewind or fast forward

Flashplayer 11.5.502.146

Mac OS 10.6.8 (64-bit)

Firefox 18.0.1

Training videos I watch frequently from protected site play fine, but I can no longer rewind or fast forward.  Recent problem, used to be fine.  The hand-thing shows up when I hover over the bar, but does nothing when I try to drag it in either direction.

Same problem if I use Safari.

    Hi I'm also having similar issues on Windows. When i try fast forward it re starts my video from the begining.....Hopefully someone will post up some solutions.
