Can't add or make changes on my computer

I am trying to download flash player, but when it comes to signing into my account to allow the changes, my account information isn't accepted. It is a used computer. I believe i need a way to bypass the original administrator on this computer...I'm not sure.

I'm assuming this is on a Mac, if so, the account information is your login information, assuming you have administrator permissions. See What userid & password do I need to install Flash Player? for assistance.
