I'm having the same problem referred to on the majority of all the threads about Flash (NONE of which have been answered, BTW) The Adobe site tells me it's installed but all the sites I go to tell me It's not and I can't locate it anywhere in my computer. I run Widows XP and just recently received updates but the problem persists...Are there any Adobe people watching these forums? PLEASE HELP US!

Pop-up preventing me from downloading the flash player did not show after I updated my windows XP. I have it installed 'succesfully' now, but don't get sound when playing movies with the flash player!!
