can't get flash player to install on vista & firefox

Question

Have been trying to install flash player on my old computer. Just installed firefox the other day and everything works fine. Went to websight from facebook to play game and was asked to install adobe flash player. Clicked on request and went to install flash player page and clicked on install flash player. It downloaded properly and I saved it to my downloads. After clicking on the download file it starts to install then I get  application initiation error  I then hit finish and it goes back to the adobe flash player install page. HELP!

Hi,If the offline installer Jeromie linked to doesn't work, we'll need to get some log files from you to troubleshoot the 'application initialization error'. Please review the FAQ Where do I find the Flash Player installation log on Windows? and upload all three files listed (FlashInstall.log, Adobe_ADM.log, and Adobe_GDE.log) to cloud.acrobat.com/send using the instructions at How do I share a file? . Post the link to the uploaded files in your reply.Thank you.--Maria
