Can’t install Flash on latest El Capitan

I have the latest El Capitan.

I got prompted to update Flash. Flash install always failed at 53% complete.

So I tried the advice offered of delete Flash Player and re-install.

Now I have no Flash Player at all and can’t install because it always stops at 53% complete and says it Failed.

The advice offered doesn’t help.

Has Adobe finally abandoned Flash Player without telling anyone? What is going on?

There is no support and a clean install doesn’t help, except a clean install takes me from outdated Flash Player to no Flash Player.

Yes, I’m closing all browsers before installing. The fail is very sudden and offers no useful feedback.

Adove flash player its necessary to all computer operator ,because without Adove flash player you cannot watch live streaming video, do not paly games etc.

Hi,

Could you please share the Adobe_ADM.log and Adobe_GDE.log from the affected machine. To figure out how to get the logs you can go through Where do I find the Flash Player installation log on the Macintosh? To share the log files you can go through How to share a document and post a link of the uploaded files here. Also can you open your terminal and type "id". Copy paste the output over here.

I got a successful install by 1) copy the installer to my main drive; 2) open Contents of installer; 3) Find Unix installer; and 4) run in using sudo.

I did this because the system log showed error 30 on fail. However I am running from an admin account, so this should not have been needed..

Go to System Preferences
1. Is there a Flash Player item listed (at the very bottom)?
In Finder, go to /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Flash Player Install Manager
1. Is the file fpsaud listed?
