Can't Use Flash although it's installed and Enabled in Windows 10

Question

When I try to open a .swf file it just asks me what I want to use to open it and doesn't give me the option of Flash. I am using Windows 10. I have checked that Flash is installed and the test for it works. No .swf files have the Flash icon.

Hi,Flash Player plugin is a browser plugin and only displays Flash content in the browser, not standalone .swf files. In order to view .swf files you'll need the Flash Player projector posted at Adobe Flash Player - Debug Downloads Unless you're debugging the .swf file you'll want to download the 'Flash Player projector'. If you're debugging, download the 'Flash Player projector content debugger'.--Maria
