Question

Can you help me download flashplayer?

I'm obviously a novice.  Yesterday I was able to access youtube videos with no problem.  This morning I began receiving the "You need to download flash player" banners.  I thought I already had flash player.  Nevertheless, I followed the procedure.  And again and again.  Each time I try a youtube video, it is as if I never went through the download.  But each time I visit Adobe, it concludes by indicating that it has been installed successfully.  When I check the control panel window, it shows flash player active X 11 but it's blank where the size in mb should be.  I'm getting desperate.  Is there a support phone number that may help?  I am really afraid I'm going to make things worse.  Thanks in advance,

jmw

Replying "helpful" doesn't seem adequate, Pat (and back to the poster of the referenced threads).  I have been so often discouraged by my inability to understand techno jargon and to accomplish the simplest procedures.  In this case, your direction and the clear presentation of the 885448 thread "talked" me through to a solutiion.  I am very grateful.

Now, you will surely think I'm nuts, but can you recommend a similarly helpful forum that might be able to talk me through pdf download issues?  Yes, I know you're thinking Good Grief.  But there you have it.  In the meantime, best wishes to you all.  I am so pleased.

    You're welcome

You can find help with Adobe Reader problems in this forum http://forums.adobe.com/community/adobe_reader_forums - mention your operating system (Windows), web browser (Internet Explorer), and the Adobe Reader version you have installed.

    Good luck!
