Cannot change flash player settings.

Running Vista Home.

I am unable to change the flash player settings even though I am logged in under an admin account.  Many flash player apps will not run. I created a new admin account and I can change the settings under it and run flash player apps.

Have tried 4 different browsers, same problem.

Cannot return to original admin account and run FP apps even then.  How do I determine the difference between admin accounts, what is FP sensitive to?

Thank you.

Hi, I am not sure what you want to do. Are you wanting to install Flash Player, the latest version?

If you are, you first need to Uninstall the old Flash Player versions.

Post back what browser and version you are using.

    Thanks,

I have the latest versions of FP loaded as well as the 4 browsers I have tried under my original admin account; FireFox, IE, Chrome, Opera.

I don't want to have to transition to the secondary admin account I setup.  Would like to get FP to work properly under my original admin account. Would love to know why I can work with FP under the new admin account and not the original.  FP also behaves under non-admin accounts.

    Thank you.

Hi, thanks for explaining:-) Well, one of the threads had quite a discussion on this. One of the people using the account that was having a problem, went to Internet Options and deleted the cookies, the offline files, the files and History. He

said that fixed that account for him and FP worked fine.

I would try that, since it just happened this week, after he and 2 other people tried it and it worked for them.

    Thanks,
