Same issue as old, unresolved post here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3250998#3250998

On my and my coworkers macbook pros, certain swfs completely stop accepting mouse clicks after the flash player settings dialog box is opened. No amount of clicking does anything to the settings, and nothing can be done accept refresh the page. Additionally, settings are not changable.

This does not appear to be a driver or Firefox issue, from what I can see. I am working on a small Flex project that requires the Flash player settings box to allow the user to always allow their camera. I've seen this issue not be present in a .swf, and then suddenly after more coding become present. If this were a FF or driver issue I'd expect the problem to always manifest itself, but this only seems to happen sometimes, although when it does happen for a specific swf it happens consistently for that .swf.

What can be done to resolve this issue? We are running the latest version of either the Flash Player or the Flash Debug Player, both of which seem to have the issue. I have also seen it in Chrome.

    Update to this -

I take back my previous statement - I can now click on the Settings manager and actually get a response on the same swf that was broken yesterday, after a restart of my machine.

Note that this is still clearly a bug.
