Cannot install Flash Player

I can't uninstall adobe flash player because setting manager is open and I cannot access flash player setting to close the manager? I want to uninstall and reinstall flash player. please help

    If you're referring to the Local Settings Manager (Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Flash Player), you can use Task Manager to terminate the process.  You may need to select to 'view tasks from all users'
