Cannot Play Music - Blank Box

The following is my problem:

Go to a45blog.blogspot.com.

There are 45 RPM records displayed there and under each record is a Flashplayer box that allows you to hear the record by clicking on the arrow.

After a Flashplayer update a few weeks ago, some (not all) of the player boxes are blank - i.e. I cannot play the music. I have Flashplayer 10.3.181.34 on a Windows 7 32bit with IE9 PC with all updates installed.

I have an identical laptop and do not have this blank box problem.

HELP ... PLEASE!

Thanks for the 45-tip. Old things can be of great value :-)

Yesterday I updated my Adobe Flash to version 10.3.181.34, and after that, some videos didn't work in my browser.

Then I tried as administrator, and there was no problems at all, but I always surf as a default-user.

I couldn't find any diferences in browser-settings between admin-account and default-user-account, and I also checked the installation, both in sysWOW64 and in IE-add-ons.

Today I restored my system 2 days backwards, and now every video works just fine!

Now I'm waiting for Adobe or Microsoft to address the bug and post a SIMPLE cure.

In the meantime, I'll try to keep my Adobe Flash ActiveX version 10.3.181.26.

It might be a little old, just like the 45-records, but it works, and that makes me happy :-)

    I use Win7(64) IE9(32)

Had this problem before with a previous update to flash.  Reinstalled and updated the sound drivers and that worked.  You might could try it.

It's not just music, but I now have no sound at all since the latest update of Flash Player.

All other sound on my PC is fine, but BBC sound and music on BBC.com's main website, which uses Flash Player, no longer works.

Nothing has changed on my PC and my sound for all other devices works the same - only sound that uses Flash Player now does not work.

I use Internet Explorer version *.06.001 and Flash Player 13.3.181.34 which was installed last week.

I use XP SP3 on an Acer Desktop all of which ran fine until my last Flash update????????

No NEWS (from the BBC) is not good news!!

Yup exact same problem we had with 10.1  I know it sounds crazy and was one of those I've tried everything else things, but it worked.  One machine just had to reinstall the driver and the other update the driver.  Sound worked fine on everything but flash objects and can't tell you why it worked it just did.
