Cannot upgrade/re-install Flash Player (iMac Intel - OSX 10.7.5)

Hi. I've been trying to upgrade Flash Player 11.6.602.180 on my iMac Intel - OSX 10.7.5 (Firefox was complaining it was not secure and asking to disable the plug-in). The upgrade procedure would alwasy fail at the last step, when I'm supposed to get the password prompt. Error message: host. unable to load application configuration.

Uninstalling with uninstall_flash_player_osx.dmg did not help. I'm stuck. Any idea?

well, solved thanks to another user, not to Adobe...

Looks like that there are lot of problems with installer on OSX.

I managed to install 11.7 using offline installer, http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/mac /install_flash_player_11_osx.dmg
