Cannot upload photos on my profile page WIN XP PRO SP 3.0 32 bit & Firefox

USING WIN XP PRO SP 3.0 32 bit and browser Firefox on a desktop....

I cannot upload photos on Facebook, nor on my profile on this site......I have the latest editions of Firefox and Adobe, I updated everything I could think of...anyone got any idea why all of a sudden I cannot upload photos, please?

What exactly means "cannot"?

Do you have the Flash Player plugin installed?  What version?  Is it enabled in Firefox?
