    - First check your laptop, YouTube videos must play have or not installed Flash player !!!

But in last time YT force his (awful) HTML5 player !!!!

    - For every browser you have html5/flash switch addons !!!

    - But in Firefox is enough to go in about:config, type: webm

    and

    HTML5 Disable

media.webm.enabled true will play only,  html5 false will force flash

    - It will force flash to be used, with YouTube displeasure, shows short on beginning as " Your browser does not currently recognize any of the video formats available." , but it will play !!!

Hope that's help many, because YouTube behaviour  in last time (hating Flash player) is hard to understand, strange and unaccountably !!!

Adobe developers: Do something about this issue !!! There is lot of as who love and prefer Flash player !!!

firstly, Flash Player is not supported on any mobile device and hasn't been for a long time.

secondly, YouTube has defaulted to HTML5 video for quite some time now, therefore, your video issue shouldn't/wouldn't be with Flash

Google embeds Flash Player in Chrome and there is no separate Flash Player plugin to install

Firefox uses the NPAPI plugin.  If you haven't installed it, launch Firefox and go to get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download and install it.

To verify if Flash is installed, and enabled, launch Chrome, and Firefox, and navigate to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html.  Click on the 'Check Now' button and the widget will return your system information and whether or not Flash Player is enabled.  If it isn't, follow the links on the page to the respective browser help page to enable Flash Player.
