Cant detect new flash player version installed

Hi,
After installing the flash player 9 in my Mac OS X 10.3.5, I cannot find where exactly it is installed
(Installation was successful). After doing a FIND, it does not show Flash Player 9 at all.
I want to open my swf files with the newer ver of the Flash player. Explain the procedure please.

The same happens with shockwave player ver 10. Cannot retrace where it is installed in my Mac.

    Hi:

    I'm new to this forum and I'm having the same problem, the only difference is that I have a PC not a Mac.

    I've searched until I'm blue in the face but to no avail as there is no listing of either Shockwave or Flash Player 9 in my "Program Files" folder!
