Capabilities.screenDPI

The Capabilities.screenDPI implementation is wrong and does not return correct values for the screens rendering Flash/Air content? In the FLEX SDK Bug base I read that the bug had been marked as "will not be fixed". Is this true? Or is there any plans for fixing this issue? I would really need it!

Can you give me the bug number for the jira database?  I'd also recommend opening up a new bug report on this over at bugbase.adobe.com?  Please post back with the URL so that others affected can add their comments and votes.

Thanks for your reply.

The Jira issue i was refering to was SDK-13778 (System.Capabilities.screenDPI always returns 72, no matter what the dpi settings).

It's an old bug. But the implementation still does not return the correct value.

There seems to be issues with mobile devices as well as desktop. See SDK-30487, SDK-29999, FB-32271 ...

I'll register a new bug and post the url here.

Thanks, I think the best chance at getting this fixed would be to add the new bug, post back with the URL, then let others know so they can go cast their votes.  The more votes and voices in the bug, the higher the chance this'll get visibility.
