Chrome flash player issue

Device: Lenovo Yoga 3 pro

System: windows 10

Browser: chrome-up to date

Hello, flash player is not working in my chrome browser however, everything appears up to date and enabled. As an example, when trying to use xfinity tv on my computer the page will not launch and I get a message saying that my flash player is not up to date. A picture is attached. When i go to check whether I have the latest version of flash player by checking in chrome://plugins it appears all is in order. A picture is attached. Additionally, if i go into chrome://components flash player is up to date. Lastly, in using the testing page from adobe, flash does not work. I am no sure what else I can do to fix this issue. I have already tried uninstalling then reinstalling chrome and also clearing ALL of my browsing history. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
