Chrome OS & allow local data storage

Hello,

I am using an Acer Chromebook running Chrome OS. My kids access a flash-based learning site (web.stmath.com) to do school assigned math work. As part of the site login the first time, the site requires you to click a button to "allow local data storage". This isnt an adobe flash popup. On the chromebook, nothing happens when I click this (whereas on my windows machine it proceeds to load the site). I''ve checked my global storage settings in the Flash player settings panel and set to allow or ask for data storage, and also upped the limits. I see that other flash sites have stored data. In Chrome's Settings > Content Settings, i've selected "allow local data to be set".

I am not sure why this one Flash site would have a problem on Chrome. I am not sure this is a Flash issue, but figured I should post here just in case someone else has experienced this.

Version info from Chrome plugins section:

Shockwave Flash (2 files) - Version: 11.1.31.101

Shockwave Flash 11.1 r31

Thanks.

You might find the info on this Chromebook support page: http://support.google.com/chromeos/?hl=en

Thanks. amazingly enough, I googled a lot before posting, and never was able to find that. The help link from the chromebook likely would take me there but it kept griping that I didnt have a network connection.

that help page doesnt have my answer but has a link to the official google group, so I have posted over there
