Clearing Firefox cookies affects Flash Global settings

Hello,

After latest Flash update (27.0.0.130), clearing Firefox cookies affects/resets Flash Global settings.

In Windows Control Panel/Flash Player (32bit) I always use "Block..." settings and never change it.

Right after latest Flash update, when I delete Firefox cookies I find those settings changed to default (Allow.../Ask...).

I think this is a serious security issue because user doesn't know about this.

My system: Win 10 Pro/64b v.1607 // Firefox 55.0.3 (32bit)

Issue has been confirmed in another forum by a Win 7 user too.

I finally was forced to uninstall current v. 27.0.0.130 and install previous v. 26.0.0.151 for the issue to be solved.

Now everything seems to be OK! Deleting FF cookies does not affect Flash settings.

Hope for a fixing real soon. It's critical!

Note: Deleting Edge cookies does not affect Flash settings.

As for IE 11, issue exists even if Flash plugin has not been installed.

Thank you!

Regards

Thanks for the note.  This is was an unintended side-effect of another bugfix, and something we take very seriously.

This issue is fixed, and will ship in the next monthly (patch tuesday, October) update.
