Since installing the latest version of flash, many of the websites that I use do not recognize my computer. Is this a known problem? Did the installation somehow delete cookies from my computer?

Windows XP version 5.1. Chrome and IE 8

Tried to access several websites that require passwords.After the initial

logon and password, I did not have to reenter this info subsequently. Since

installing the latest version of Flash, I have had to reenter the info.I

have been told that the installation removes existing cookies from these

sites.

A simple installation/upgrade should not remove any of your Flash Player cache. These passwords, are they for Flash content or are these just normal website passwords?
