I keep getting an install error for the latest version of flash. The download starts, gets to about 4% and then shows a connection error and doesn't finish the install.

Hi meganb9499,

Can you please provide the following information:

    Operating System.

    OS Version.

Browser on which you want to run Flash content.

Site from where you have obtained Flash Installer.

And if you have time please provide the following log files.

Download and run the online installer from Adobe Flash Player Install for all versions

Two files, Adobe_ADM.log and Adobe_GDE.log will be generated.

For Macintosh,

Provide File #3 ( Adobe_ADM.log ) and File #4 ( Adobe_GDE.log ) Where do I find the Flash Player installation log on the Macintosh?

For Windows

The files are located at the following location:

  •   Vista and above: C:\Users\<YourUserID>\AppData\Local\Temp\Adobe_ADMLogs

Upload the files using the How to share a document instructions

Post the URL to uploaded log files.

Thanks,

Eswar.

Hi Eswar,

Thank you for getting back to me. My OS is Windows 7, but I am unsure of the version. The browser that I am using and trying to install flash with is Mozilla. I used, Adobe.com for the flash player download.

I will try and get the logs uploaded, if you need them.

Thanks again!

Megan
