"Connection Error" when running flashplayer17_ha_install.exe

O/S Windows XP SP3

Current Flash Player version: 15

All programs and browsers are closed.

Downloaded the binary 'flashplayer17_ha_install.exe' onto Desktop

When starting 'flashplayer17_ha_install.exe', it starts the scroll bar, but within 1-2 seconds gives "Connection Error" and stops.

I cannot find any information on WHY this is occuring, so unable to update.

PLEASE HELP!
