I narrowed this down to the specific changelist, and we're halting as a result of stricter parsing of PNGs. This may be intentional behavior. I won't know until we debug it. You're loading a PNG that's malformed (or, at least, we now consider malformed).

Since any fix from us is going to take at least a few weeks to reach end-users, you may want to take a look at what PNG files you're loading and see if maybe you can narrow down which image it is, and experiment with re-encoding it.

I might be able to provide you with more useful guidance as we work through it. If I have more info, I'll update this thread.
