[Critical error] Black screen watching any random video

Hi, I'm using:

W7 x64.

8GB RAM

Intel Q6600 2'4Gz

GPU EAH CuCore 5770HD

Motherboard P5Ne-SLI

Google Chrome

The page says I'm using the 11.8 when I'm using Chrome's last version (11.9).

Problem here:

I can use Flash player for everything else but videos. Vimeo makes my PC crash, not only Youtube. I can watch 10 or 20 seconds of the video (or just skip the advertisement on Youtube) and then the PC goes black still having sound for 10 seconds more or less. Then it just stays frozen with the black screen. Doesn't matter how I play the video, embed or not. It's not about the Youtube/Vimeo screen, it's the entire PC that goes frozen.

Thanks in advance.

First thing I would try is check if a newer graphics driver is available; see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/945765

Done, now I can see videos without advertisements. But when trying to watch one with, it still happens. I did a video with my phone.

    Need more help.

Thanks for the video!  My first suspicion is the same as Pat's, this seems like a driver issue.  That's about the only thing that could take down your entire system like that.

Does this occur with any other browser besides Chrome?

Can you post a copy of your system's dxdiag report?
