I have been searching for a way to remove or delete old Flash Player Control applets. I work for a very large company and our Vulnerabilities team wants the old applets gone.

If you're referring to old versions of Flash Player, the Flash Player uninstaller will remove the old versions. Unless the old version is embedded in a browser (e.g. Chrome, IE/Edge), then uninstaller will not remove it, but new embedded versions should replace old versions when updated by the browser.

When we look at installed software, we see a Adobe Flash 27 Control Panel Applet. I can not find a way to delete it. The unistaller does not remove this and its getting reported as a vulnerability.
