Detecting Flash Player 10.0 and higher

I exported my flash movie using flash player 10 with the flash player detect check box enabled. The code that is generated detects for flash player "10.1.52". Some of my web users are running flash player 10 version "10.0.22.87" which doesn't let them view my flash content (for what ever reason they don't want to install the latest flash version). I'm wondering if I manually edit the javascript code to check for version "10.0", would it create any problems?

I'm using Flash CS5.

Any experience help would be great!

Thanks

Hi, You would probably receive better advice and help on one of the other Forums. That version of Flash Player is so old, I'm surprised that any website supports it, as most update shortly after Adobe does. That version was updated in 7/2009.

Whichever Adobe Product you use would have a Forum and could advise you. The Flash Player Forum addresses issues for the end user.

    Hope that helps,
