difficulty installing flash player

Have followed all instructions on trying to download adobe flashplayer = any suggestions?

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking the following link and choosing "Save Target as".

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Save it to your downloads folder - DO NOT run it yet!

Reboot your system.

BEFORE you open anything else, locate and run the installer.

If it still gives you trouble, see: Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer  and:ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer  for further steps.

Hi       Thanks for rsvp.  Did what you said and it didn't work - need detailed instructions - not a guru with respect to this type of issue.  Tried other two options and they didn't work either.Any other suggestions?
