Disabling Adobe Flash Plugin solved most of my horrible page crash problem in Chrome but...
Hello,
I have had this really awful problem of all of my web browsers giving the 'cannot display webpage ' error - Chrome, IE, and Opera. Firefox is the only one that works ok. I mean, I would go to google.com in Chrome, and get the "Aw Snap" 4 times in a row before it loaded. Pages would just crash randomly after fully loading, usually just before I finished writing a long post on a forum about the problem (actually that just happened wtf). Until now. I disabled the Adobe Flash plugin, and Chrome now works smoothly and normally and loads every page normally! Why is this a problem??? If I go to speedtest.net it says I need Adobe Flash to run it and I'm sure there are others like it.
Why does every page crash when I enable Adobe Flash?? I have been struggling with this for MONTHS! I have a very long list of troubleshooting steps. I thought I had hardware failures. You wouldn't believe how much work I've done trying to fix this.
And here it is. The Adobe Flash Plugin makes almost every page crash on Chrome.
I have full system reports from several apps including PCMark, PerformanceTest, Aida64, and FreshDiagnosis. I have loads and loads of information about my system, every detail/ I have windows performance monitor logs, and diagnostic logs from other programs.
If anyone is interested ... I can be a test subject for you! I am happy the problem is fixed but don't understand why. It is not correlated with CPU use or memory according to Windows. I have an older laptop, it is a HP Pavilion tx1308nr, it's about 8 years old but I have upgraded from Vista to Wiin7 and have a larger HD and +2GB memory to 4GB.
What is up with Adobe Flash Pluggin???
Thanks,
Stephen
