Distribution License Expired - Still waiting for renewal

I was greeted by the lovely:

Your license for Adobe Flash Player distribution expired on 2017-10-12.

On 10/12/17, at which time I immediately completed the form online and submitted.  Here I still sit waiting for that approval.  I believe I had read it took 3 business days, but now online chat support (which was extremely painful and told me to come to the community forums for the issue) says it is 1 week.

So, two questions:

1. How can I get this pushed through, as I feel strongly the need to download the latest version 27.0.0.170?

2. Is there a way to receive an email reminder a month before the license expires as a reminder?
