DJI files played fine last week, now they freeze entire on playback on Windows 10 platform.

DJI files after download have played fine for months, Today upon playback they freeze within 4-10 secs. Sometimes the time (blue slider) continues to move but images is frozen. So the arrrow to advance to next file and so is the ability to close any file.  Taskmanager won't allow access .  I have to shut down. I have rebooted both computer and external hard drive, no changes.  ALL other files Go Pro, Nikon's DSC work...just not DJI.  

I have the update flash player.  Suggestions?
