Does 9,0,47,0 have a debugger version?

Working in Flex Builder 2...I tood the recommended upgrade from 9,0,45,0 to current 9,0,47,0.

Attempting to debug I get:

Installed Flash Player is Not a Debugger. Flex Builder cannot locate the required debug version of the Flash Player. You may need to install the debug version of the Flash Player 9.0 or reinstall Flex Builder. Do you want to try to debug with the current version?"

Now FB2 debugging is broke. Perhaps this latest doesn't include a debugger...when I right click 'Debugger' is not listed. However, and more disturbing....some projects that ran fine and no reaching the same conclusions as under ,45,.

I'm finding little to no info about this elsewhere...anyone come up against this yet?

    Update

    It appears that the 9.0.r47 version does work as long as you debug the SWF file within a browser. We had the automatic HTML generation turned off in Flex and the SWF was being launched in a standalone window which is why the debugger plugin detection was failing.

    We have just ran into the same problem. The latest Flash Player 9 Plugin ( content debugger ) 9.0.r47 ( Windows ) does not work with Flex Builder 2. I uninstalled the old plugin before installing the new version just to make sure it was updating correctly.

    After my earlier problems with debugging in flex i reverted to r28, by running the installer in Flex Builder 2's player folder. Debugged worked.

    Upon this message I re-visited the page, reinstalled r47 and, once again, debugging's broke in flex. (I haven't used the debugger in Flash before but when I test a file (trace works ok), and right click the 'debugger' menu item is greyed out.)

    The file the dialog says it can't find _does exist:

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\FlashNPSWF32.dll

    File properties describe it as: Shockwave Flash 9.0 r47 - Other version info: Item name - debugger : value = 0.

    So what next?

    Adobe Flash Player 9 — Debugger Versions (aka debug players or content debuggers) for Flex and Flash Developers
    7/10/2007 Updated debugger versions of Flash Player 9 (aka debug players or content debuggers) are available for Flex Builder 2 users and Flash CS3 Professional users. These new players are version 9.0.r47 and 9.0.r48 (Linux).
