Double Click Problem with Flash

As many of you may have noticed some sites that feature Flash movies, banners etc.. now require you to first click on the Flash element to use or interact with Flash. Usually the Flash element has an outline around it, once you click on it the outline disappears and you can interact with the Flash movie.

Does anyone know of a patch / code that can fix this problem.

    Oh god .. here we go again .. Obviously someone has been living under a rock
    or on a deserted island for a few months :)

    This is due to Microsoft IE changes required to avoid infringing the
    (stupid) EOLAS patent. It applies to all Active-X control that can interact
    with the user.

    If you are viewing a web site, you cannot really do anything to fix it,
    except complain to the web master
