We don't provide any direct mechanism to do that beyond what's available through normal interactions.  If you can script that interaction, great.  There's no guarantee that it will never change, but it's theoretically possible. 

I believe that there are also some commercial services available to system administrators that provide the service of keeping dependent applications patched in your environment.  If you don't have the time or expertise in your organization to script and maintain this kind of thing yourself, you might look at vendors in that space for an optimal solution.
