Downloaded Flash Player not working on Windows 10, Google Chrome , nor WIndows Edge

I have WIndows 10, using Chrome and Windows Edge, with Flash Player installed, and does NOT open, I  try to uninstall and re-install, also allow flash player to run and it still does NOT run.

    what does "and does NOT open" mean?  Flash Player is a browser plugin and only works in the browser.

    chrome and edge have flash player builtin, you don't need to install it.

    However you must activate it from the browser itself.
