Downloaded new Flash player, game using it won't load on Chrome

Windows 10, Chrome Downloaded newest Flash.  Tried to load a game I have used for years.  It would not load.  Wnet to 100% and then the wheel just spun forever, the game (World Golf Tour) never came up.

In the listing of programs in the start menu, Flash is not listed.  How can I access it?  How do I get to the settings to see if anything is wrong?

Your help will be appreciated since Adobe provides no support.

Thanks, I found the problem in the set up. I had blocked 3rd party “something or anothers” and I returned the setting back to normal and it worked.

A link to the game that reproduces the problem would be super useful.  Also, "when in doubt, reboot" is still sage advice.  If the problem persists, please share a link.  We'd be happy to look.

Yeah, that would probably do it.  If you're not paying for a service online like a game, you can be sure that someone is.  Most of those ad-based ecosystems require disinterested third parties to monitor gameplay and ad views, etc. to make sure that everyone is getting paid equitably, that the traffic isn't fraudulent, and that there's an audit trail.

If you're blocking third party cookies or tracking, the game developer can't prove that their advertisers' ads were viewed, which means that they're not getting paid, and they may (reasonably) choose to withhold their services as a result.

Flash is not an app and doesn't appear in the start menu, because only apps go there. It's a browser plug-in only. Look in Control Panel.
