I have windows 10, using Microsoft Edge. When I check settings Adobe flash player is enabled & I appear to have latest version, but each time we try to sign into dreambox it immediately goes to a screen advising I need to download Adobe Flash Player

Also, if this is a desktop application built for an earlier version of Windows, it probably assumes that Flash Player is installed in a location where it doesn't exist.  Flash Player is a built-in component of Internet Explorer and Edge on Chrome.  An older desktop application would be looking for a separate, independent Flash Player product installed on the machine, but IE and Edge no longer allow for that, and the application itself is making a faulty assumption in the context of the modern operating system.

If that's the case, you'll need to go talk to DreamBox about how to work around the issue on Windows 10.  If the product is still around and maintained, they probably have a Win10-specific version that eliminates this dependency.

First, confirm that ActiveX Filtering is configured to allow Flash content:

Internet Explorer 11 and Edge introduce a number of changes both to how the browser identifies itself to remote web servers, and to how it processes JavaScript intended to target behaviors specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the content provider changes their site to conform to the new development approach required by modern versions of IE.

You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:

If that is too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a preferable alternative.

I couldn't find the active x, so I used Chrome as my browser & it worked just fine. Thanks for the suggestion
