DVD freezes

I have a new set of 7 DVDs that used to play on my computer without a hitch.  They are a combination of PowerPoint slides and some video where demonstrations are given.  They now play fine on my husband's computer, but after installing the new version of Flash player, they no longer work on mine.  They are new DVDs that I paid a LOT of money for.  I have a Dell XPS gaming computer (but I don't play games.)

I cannot figure out the difference between the two computers.  I used to get, and my husband still gets the error message "Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation.  The following local application on your computer or network:  E:\player\stealthray.swf  is trying to communicate with this Internet-enabled location:  E:\clickme.html.  To let this application communicate with the Internet, click Settings.  You must restart your application after changing your settings."

Now, if I click OK instead of changing any settings, it will still play on my husband's computer.  I no longer even get the error message, but it still won't play on my computer.  I tried adding the clickme.html as a location in the settings, but it didn't work.  But before whatever happened, happened, I would get the same message and I could click OK, and it still would play.

Does anybody have any ideas that could help me?

Thanks so much,

Ginger

Ginger, I suppose you are referring to dvd's you received from Bill P.?

If they are, you should have received a note in the box to click OK.

How are you doing with the course?

I am trying to find out what this message means as well, will let you know if I find anything.
