Enable/disable

when testing my flash player in customer support, it says my flash player is disabled. when I go to advanced settings, it says I am enabled. My flash player isn't working, therefore I am assuming it is disabled. Help

    So when I go to use adobe to open a lecture I am doing at uni I get the

    attached message (see screenshot (2) attached).  

    When I check if my adobe is enable through settings it's saying it is. 

    But when I test try it's saying it's disabled.

    I am using Windows 10 (Microsoft Edge).

    And I have Adobe Shockwave Player 12.1 installed.  

    It worked up until about 2 weeks ago.  Then all of a sudden stopped.
