Hello,

I downloaded all versions of fp from the distibution web site (active-x, ppapi, npapi) to deploy them via gpo install. I do that for a long time and it was mostly running perfect.

Now it seems there is a general problem installing the active x version on my windows 10 machines. The installation process is not finishing on all my machines. In eventlog I can see a message :

Product: Adobe Flash Player 24 ActiveX -- Error 1722.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action NewCustomAction1, location: C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\{22AF9D99-A980-4071-A0BD-1D0BB956B9EA}\InstallAX_24_0_0_194.exe, command: -install -msi -prev 18.0.0.203

The other both installations ppapi and npapi are running fine.

I can't see what is the problem. So I tried to run the flash uninstall tool against one of those machines with no success.

So I ask you, what to so to eliminate the problem.

Thank's in advance!

    Hi,

As of Windows 8, Microsoft embeds Flash Player in IE and all Flash Player for IE updates are released by Microsoft via Windows Update.  It shouldn't install, nor run at all on Windows 10.  I'll investigate furhter and file a bug if need be.
