Hi there everyone, this is my first post over here.

I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find a 1605 error code linked with Adobe Flash.

I'm working on a project to fix Adobe Flash installation failures. The current error i'm stuck on is 1605

The installs and uninstalls are already packaged, i only have around 5 failures so far, we have many successful installtions so I know the package isn't corrupt.

Here is the installation log file

12/25/13 3:07:27 - Starting to Install Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX 11.9.900.152 - Build 1.0

12/25/13 3:07:28 - CMDLINE = /s

12/25/13 3:07:53 - {9223BBDE-693D-4B5F-A1DE-C40C7D2E4C89} Uninstall completed with error code 1605

12/25/13 3:07:55 - Error translated by net helpmsg: This action is only valid for products that are currently installed..

I see a differen't product code getting removed on other machines and that's prob because they had a different version of flash installed.
I was however able to install adobe flash versions 11.8 and below successfully, it's just versions 11.9 that fail.

Any advice will be greately appreciated, thanks

Try a "clean Install" per the instructions here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4041846

Hey the cleanup method didn't work.

However, i could  get the latest flash installed without the package, for some reason it keeps failing with the package. Version 11.8 and  under installs with the package.

I know the package works because we've used the same package for thousands of other machines and they've worked.

This is an interestin issue
