Error codes on Internet Explorer?

I am receiving error codes #2060 and #2184 on websites visited via IE, after which IE freezes and I have to restart.  I am using hp PC (desktop all-in-one) with Windows 8.1 and Flash Player version 18.0.0.232.  I recently upgraded to Win 10 (a disaster)  reverted to 8.1, and performed a recovery and a restoration with the help(?) of 6 different MS technicians.  I followed the instruction from "tool" through enabling Shockwave Flash Object (it was already enabled.)

Hi,

Microsoft released the content debug version of Flash Player in last week's Flash Player for Internet Explorer update for Windows 8.1.  The content debugger is used by developers to debug their code and results in the alert errors you are seeing. I don't have an estimate as to when they're going to release the fix.  While these alerts are annoying and degrade your viewing experience I don't recommend uninstalling the update as it addresses a number of security vulnerabilities that are being exploited.

If you have your system configured to automatically install updates, then the update will be installed when Microsoft releases the fix.

See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3087916 and Windows Update kb3087916 [August] is installing the DEBUG version of Flash ActiveX into IE11 on (32-bit) Windows 8.1 systems. for more information.

I have the same problem but with different error codes so what your saying is that no one can help with this problem yet without chancing a security breach?

Hi petel24176303,

The error code doesn't matter.  The source of the behaviour is still the same.

You can also use an alternate browser (I forgot to mention this before).  Google Chrome embeds Flash Player so it wouldn't require installing the plugin separately.  Firefox and Opera do not embed Flash Player so you would need to go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer after installing the browser to download and install the plugin.
