I keep getting an "ActionScript" error message #2060 and do not know how to get it corrected or resolved.  Any and all help here will be greatly appreciated!!!   I am running Windows 7, and use Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Firefox.  The message always appears related to Skype. Here is the error message:

This thread was originally about a debugger version of Flash that Microsoft accidentally shipped to the entire user population.  That issue has been resolved for a few months and running Windows Update on your system should resolve it.   If you have current versions of Flash Player and you've applied all the available Windows Updates, you're experiencing a different problem and would be better served by starting a new thread.

To that end, I'm locking this thread to preserve this information about this historical issue for posterity, and to encourage people experiencing unrelated issues to start a new thread.

This is a known issue, here's the Microsoft article about it, which also shows some ways for you to revert to last week while you wait for a fix. Or, you could use Chrome:

I removed the last Internet explorer up date KB3087916 and everything is now fine.

It was this version that caused my problem. After I removed KB3087916 my error problem was solved

I get the same message when I am in MSN Premium Home page.  Error pops up so many times I have to go to another site.  Very frustrating.  I did a clean boot and that did not fix the problem.  Runnng Windows 8.1.  Any help would be appreciated.

As mentioned earlier, you shouldn't get that message with the standard Flash Player.

Your error relates to the Flash Player, and perhaps specifically to the creator of the Flash file you're having trouble with. Either way, you should ask on a forum for the Flash Player or contact the developer of the file that's throwing the error.

I thank you for your reply.  I had received an earlier reply saying that the error was being caused by a "de-bugger" program that I had apparently downloaded. So, I 'uninstalled' all Adobe Shockwave Flashplayer.  I also 're' installed Flashplayer.  I just finished with that when I saw your email.  Let's see what happens with the new install.  Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
