Question

Every video I watch using Chrome is rather 'jerky' - why is this?

If I watch a YouTube video momentarily it will appear to be smooth and then it starts to 'stutter'... Why is this and does this issue have an association with Adobe Flash Player?

    Hi Ryan,

It seems flash player is not used  as  "About Adobe Flash Player 18.0.0.209.." is not getting displayed ,when right clicked on youtube video. It might be using HTML5.

    Thanks,

    Amrit

    Hi,

By default YouTube uses HTML5.To check if the video is using Flash player, right click on video and observe the Flash player version.

If latest version FP is being used, please provide details to debug the issue: OS with version,Browser version,FP version,Exact URL with the issue.

    Thanks,

    Amrit

I have no idea how to do all of this... When I right-clicked on the particular video there was no option to check what version of FP was being used; it simply provided options in the menu such as 'stats for nerds' etc. The browser I'm using is Google Chrome and the latest version of FP has been installed in my browser. I have only noticed these issues recently, when I my tablets and phones there are no issues at all - it's only when I use my computer.
