Exit Code 1030?

I apoligize if this has been discussed before, but I didn't get any results when I did a search.  When installing "install_flash_player_ax.exe" on several systems, I'm seeing an error/exit code of 1030, and am unsure as to what that error is.  I've check with MS and they don't have any reference to it.

    Can you check the contents of C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall.log if there is any indication what that exit code means?

    If you don't understand what's in that file, just post the whole contents here at the forum.

    I've posted the contents of the log file at the bottom of this message.  I'm assuming that the "" at the bottom of the log is the actual error number, assuming that to be true and assuming it is a MS Exit Code, it would mean that it wasn't able to write to a registry key.  If this is all true, is there a way to change the log settings so that they are a little more verbose?

    Your assumption is correct, but I cannot find error 00001013 linking to a registry permission problem; in fact I have no idea what error 00001013 means.

    Unfortunately that install log is all we get - I don't know of any installer option that would give us more details.

    If it were me encountering this problem, I would try the MSI installer instead.  However, I just replied to a topic where two users claimed that the MSI installers on http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html are still version 10.1.82.76.

    P.S. I have just downloaded the MSI installers from above link; they do not contain a version number, but the digital signature is dated September 15 - the same as the 10.1.85.3 EXE installers.
