Firewall and Network/sharing Center problems caused by Flash?

Hello!

I have a new computer. Yesterday I made all the initial stuff; updated windows, installed anti virus, got Safari for web browser and installed Adobe Flash Player.

First everything worked fine after Flash installation but after restart I could no longer reach my Network and Sharing Center, the internet, or the Windows Firewall, or Norton Anti Virus. My computer kept telling me the last two were off and I tried in every way to open Norton or turning on the firewall, nothing responded in any way.

I reset my computer to default today and started over. Everything that I had yesterday on here is here again and it works perfectly. I read that someone had the exact same problem with Flash in a forum but never found a solution. What should I do?

Specifications:

Intel Core i5 430M

640GB HDD

4GB RAM

Windows 7 64 bit os

Thanks !

J

...everything I had on the computer before the "crash" is downloaded again except for Flash, that is, of course...

What I would do at this stage is a complete backup, so that you can easily restore instead of reinstalling if something happens.  (I doubt that Flash Player caused anything like you described; FP is just a browser add-on.)
