Flash 10.1 Intel-only for macs BIG MISTAKE!

As the title says: BIG MISTAKE if Adobe wants Flash to continue widespread adoption going forward. Intel-only mac support will lock out a LOT of schools and students from accessing any content produced for 10.1.

Adobe, please re-consider. Accessing the www should not require steep system requirements. HD video and 3D stuff... that's understandable. But otherwise, to up the requirements so much (in comparison to 10.0) is to hobble many internet users.

    Sorry, my bad.

    From the release PDF:

Support for the Macintosh PowerPC platform is not available in this prerelease but will be available in a future prerelease.

Glad to know Adobe is keeping compatibility with older computers in mind. (HD aside, my G5 has plenty of oomph here yet)

PS. Haven't seen many responses from Adobe here. Is this forum just a ghost town, or what?

Yeah, no reply from Adobe either to my other thread: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/525880?tstart=0
