Flash 11.3.376.12 crashes my computer

Question

Most of the time when I want to watch a video or play a game; anything that invloces flash, my computer crashes. The computer freezes and a BSOD appears. PC reboots itself and Microsoft Error Reporting asks if I want to send info to Microsoft.

I'm running version 11.3.376.12 on Internet Explorer in Windows 8 (64-bit).

It also crashes on Firefox too.

I installed Chrome which has flash integrated and that never crashes. What is wrong?

I'm sorry you're running into crashes when viewing Flash content. Here's the first two things I'd try:

1. Update your version of Flash Player to the latest version (11.3.377.15) using the Windows update mechanism and verify that you are running Flash Player11.5.502.135 on Firefox.

2. Update your graphics card drivers to the latest available version.

Blue screens are typically driver related, so my bet is that you're running into a graphics driver conflict.
