Question

Flash 11/XP Compatible??

I would like to know why Adobe would create a product that isn't compatible with Windows XP (32 bit).  We were told (by an expert) that we would have to upgrade to Vista or 7 before we could use Flash 11.  Every time we try to install 11, it says that the attempt has failed.

I have Flash Player 11 installed on several XP systems without any problems.

Can you post the contents of the FlashInstall.log file in C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash ?

Hi rmpaulson,

I'm sorry you're running into installer problems but rest assured, Flash Player 11 is fully compatible with XP.  Please see this FAQ and download the appropriate 32 bit installer.  We'd also appreciate if you'd take a moment and fill out the 3 question survey regarding your initial install attempts.  We're always trying to improve the process and your feedback is important.

Where can I find direct downloads of Flash Player 11 for Windows or Macintosh?

Thanks,

Chris
